Impact of Food on Body and Mind

What we eat is what our body made of. Our mind is also made of it. Health is the basis of all other assets. Our possessions have meaning only if the our health is good. You cannot get good health by visiting the doctor or eating supplements. You create it by your habits, and can change it by changing habits. Today we don’t have shortage of food. Majority of people who visit doctors are people who have eaten too much, but they have eaten the wrong kind of food, in the wrong manner. Half of what we eat feeds us and the rest breeds diseases, feeds doctors and druggists.

So we are veritably what we eat. We need to invest our time, energy and intellect in understanding 3 things:

– What are the nutrients that our body needs.

– What is the nutrition in the food that we eat.

– What is the process of digestion and assimilation by which our body extracts and utilizes the nutrition in the food.
