Naturopathy Treatment for Cervical Spondylosis
Cervical spondylosis also known as cervical osteoarthritis or neck arthritis affects the joints of the neck. With age there is degeneration of the cartilage and bones in the cervical spine, causing neck pain and affecting the mobility in the day to day activities. Though age is not the only factor, with a hectic schedule, stressful working hours, spinal injuries, and long commuting time, upper back pain and spondylolysis is a common complaint.
There is no medicine to cure cervical spondylosis they can only give immediate relief from pain. It is only in naturopathy through regular yoga asanas, physiotherapy and right diet that can provide a permanent cure.
They are seven cervical vertebrae in the neck arranged one over another, having a particular gap, in case of injury or stiff neck the nerves passing through these gaps get pressurized. The pressure on the nerves leads to the symptoms of cervical spondylosis. If it is without inflammation it is called cervical spondylosis. Working continuously intense atmosphere also produces this condition
Faulty body posture, sedentary lifestyle, zero exercises, psychological stress, wrong nutrition resulting from poor dietary habits and strain caused by long working hours or sitting in the same posture for a long time leads to muscle spasm. One of the main causes of cervical spondylosis is also injury, which you might have sustained many years ago, especially neck injury. Many times immediate causes can be improper bending or improper lifting of weights. Emotional stress also causes painful muscle cramping.
Poor body posture also results from cushioned chairs on which people tend to slouch and sit incorrectly. Soft sleeping mattress invariably leads to improper back and neck posture, causing tension, headaches, and pain in the lower back and neck. Modern lifestyle and easy access to conveniences make us exert less physically when we do do not exercise muscles become weak, making them vulnerable and increasing the chance to injury manifold.
The first signal of cervical spondylosis is severe pain in the affected area like the shoulders, backside of neck, headache and giddiness in some cases and stiff neck with absolutely no movement or very restricted movement of the neck. In some cases, pain may occur in both the arm and fingers, collar bones, and even throat. Tingling or numbness that mainly affects shoulders and arms, although it can also occur in the legs.
