The fennel seeds are often taken after a meal or can mix roasted fennel seed powder and mix it in a glass of water and drink it.
Figs are very high in fiber and fibrous food act as a natural laxative.
Fresh figs are available and can be eaten with their skin as the skin contains most of the fiber and calcium. People with chronic constipation should have fig everyday in the morning. - High-fiber foods should be made part of the meal.Some high fibre foods are beans, potatoes, carrots, brown rice, prunes, wheat germ, fresh fruits, green leafy vegetables, nuts, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, broccoli, peas, etc.
- Those suffering from constipation, it is very important to drink enough fluids. Drink at least
- 8-10 glasses of water daily.
- Fresh vegetable juice and fruit juice should be taken everyday.
- Alcohol and caffeine should be avoided as both cause dehydration.
- As molasses contains high calories, you must not follow these remedies on a daily basis.
A simple change in lifestyle and diet can prevent big trouble.
