They are also given mild massage on chest and back with warm mustard oil boiled with garlic cloves. Enema of lukewarm water is also recommended. Daily hot foot bath for 15 minutes. TIPS:

To help control an acute asthma attack, sitting leaning forward with head on arms and arms resting on a table helps.

Also drinking some hot water with the juice of one clove of garlic will provide temporary relief.
